The Essentials for the work place :-)
- A crucifix
- A picture of Our Lady of Grace
- I need to find a nice picture of St Joseph too :-)
Photography
- Nikon FM2, this is a cheap camera yet rugged, dependable and so simple to use
- Nikkor 50mm f:1.4, PC-Nikkor 35mm f:2.8, Nikkor 200mm f:4
- Nikon F90X
- Nikkor 85m f:1.8 AF, Nikkor 35mm f:2.0 AF, Nikkor 24mm f2.8 AF
- Leica M6 + Summicron 35mm f:2.0 Aspherical, this was the ideal camera when I took pictures inside churches where there were people praying. This camera was so quiet that I went unnoticed most of the time. Most indoor pictures were taken with this camera.
- Kodak Elitechrome and Fuji Sensia, still cheap compared to a full-frame digital camera (~ $3000 at the time of this writing).
- Bogen tripod and head
- Leica P150 projector
Computing
- PowerPC G4 733 MHz, 1.5 Gb RAM + Mac OS X 10.2 and 10.4, this is a 7-year-old computer, but still run nicely with an upgrade to OS X 10.4
- Epson 4900 scanner + Adobe Photoshop to digitize my Kodak and Fuji slides
- Thinkpad T61 T9300 2.50 GHz, 3Gb RAM + Windows Vista, this laptop is very handy to write my articles when I have to wait for something (commute time to work for example :-). I like it for its excellent keyboard, which is quite nice when one has a lot of texts to type in.
- FileZilla FTP client
Fuel
- Big help from the Holy Spirit
- Prayers
- Coffee and cookies
- Background musics : classical guitar, smooth jazz, Gregorian chants, John Michael Talbot, Peter White, Marc Antoine, Eric Serra ... and ZZ Top when I drink too much coffee :-)
- Short Wave Radios
