Matthew 5:10-12 : 10 Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake: 12 Be glad and rejoice for your reward is very great in heaven. For so they persecuted the prophets that were before you.
Matthew 10:17 : But beware of men. For they will deliver you up in councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues.
Matthew 10:22 : And you shall be hated by all men for my name's sake: but he that shall persevere unto the end, he shall be saved.
Matthew 24:9 : Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall put you to death: and you shall be hated by all nations for my name's sake.
Mark 4:17 : And they have no root in themselves, but are only for a time: and then when tribulation and persecution ariseth for the word they are presently scandalized.
NASB: and they have no firm root in themselves, but are only temporary; then, when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they fall away.
Mark 13:13 : And you shall be hated by all men for my name's sake. But he that shall endure unto the end, he shall be saved.
Luke 21:12 : But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and into prisons, dragging you before kings and governors, for my name's sake.
