Carmelite Monastery, Santa Clara, California August 2006

This monastery is my favorite place. I have been coming here for the celebration of the Holy Mass in honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in July, and for the feasts of St Therese of Lisieux and St Teresa of Avila in October. This is a place where you'll find peace and calm that you need in a fast pace life of Silicon Valley. If you visit this beautiful monastery, please offer prayers and supports for the monastery and for Carmelite vocations. We are blessed to have the cloistered nuns. As many priests put it: "the cloistered nuns are the heart that sends blood to the Church so priests can do their work at the front line."
